FOLDER STRUCTURE

GUIDELINES:

Folders follow a particular structure. This template can be downloaded and created via Post Haste.

Spaces are NEVER allowed in any of the file / folder names.

Top-level folders within a project are CAPITALIZED, and every subsequent folder is regular-case.

Every folder is numbered at the beginning.

Nothing gets deleted! Everything you want to throw away gets added to the “zTRASH” folder.

    • 02_Images – Any images that were used for temp comps, graphics, or otherwise.

    • 03_GFX – Downloadable graphics such as icons, logos, etc.

    • 04_Music – Sourced music not commissioned for project.

      • 01_EpidemicSound – (or whichever provider we end up using)

      • 02_Temp – Downloaded/unlicensed music from other projects.

    • 05_Sounds – Any sourced/temp sounds, organized by type.

      • 01_SFX – Sound effects, organized by category (body impact, footsteps, ambience, etc).

      • 02_ADR – AI/Temp ADR that is not final.

    • 06_Client – Assets provided by client such as logos, burners, etc.

  • 04_GFX_VFX – Any internal GFX or VFX work.

    • 01_Design – Photoshop work, motion graphics, or other design work.
